Each day we get closer, the more populated it gets. I hear the ones who started in France complaining about it a lot. When you start up there, they say you can go days without seeing anyone on the trail. Only complaint I would make is that many are biking it now and a constant train of bikes is annoying in that you spend less time hiking and contemplating and more time spent getting out of their way.
